This heartwarming story details a lot of well known sports figures and how each of them affected the life of the author. Those who love Pittsburgh sports will be truly impressed with his many encounters of the different sports legends, such as Dan Marino, Foge Fazio, just to name a few, whom he got to know throughout his life while growing up and working in this city. A must read for the sports literature junky, as well as those struggling to overcome health problems. A truly uplifting account of Joe’s life.

This was a wonderful book demonstrating, courage, hope and overcoming obstacles that most people will never have to face. It’s well worth reading....I loved it.

I'm Justin's cousin. I was really excited when I heard about this book, but now that I've read it, I'm disappointed.Why? Justin lived with his dad, who had custody over him. I know (because I was there) that my uncle played a significant role in making the decision to donate Justin's organs. In my opinion, if you're going to thank Justin's family, you should include him too.

It is simply not well written. I also wonder, based on Social media interactions, how truthful he is.This book will NOT help you get a transplant any more than your clinic's social worker. I strongly recommend 'Help, I need Dialysis' written by an actual expert.

The writing style is clear and precise. This book is a heartfelt combination of family, faith, sports, medical miracles and the perservance of life through many difficult times. Each chapter makes the reader pause for a moment to realize Joe’s strength and emotional fortitude to survive. Justin’s family’s ability to see beyond death to help others is beautiful gift to all. A must read for all young adults in high school. .Thank you Joe for sharing with readers your remarkable life.

It is so refreshing to read about professional athletes who think more about others than themselves. Joe & Jeff do an amazing job explaining how playing sports teaches you to motive yourself. "Justin Time" game me a new perspective on growing up with struggles, always looking forward, and professional sports. Joe is tougher than all the athletes in the book and he has his faith and family to thank. The only people in the book tougher are Joe's mom and Justin's mom. Truly inspiring.!
